Meet the Future – Fossilized in Houston Drawing Party
On October 1st, 2016, the Fossilized Houston team hosted a drawing and listening party at Tiny Art Salon, part of Texas Contemporary Art Fair. The booth featured gas pumps, plastic figures, bones and more--letting the viewers bear witness to the anthropocene! Guests could make their mark at the drawing party while listening to a sound environment of technological and biological extinction. Read more about this event here.
About Texas Contemporary Art Fair
Texas Contemporary, Houston’s leading contemporary and modern art fair, brings the country’s best galleries to the area’s discerning collector base. Within the Fair, DiverseWorks presents Tiny Art Salon, a series of talks and live performances by Houston-area artists in the DW booth. Tiny Art Salon proposes an alternative to the standard art fair booth by providing a platform for artists to present short talks, host conversations, and perform unique works over the course of the four-day fair.
